Disappointed


I've had a good week. I've eaten under 1200 calories every day and I've been drinking 2 litres of water every day, which I hate, but my scales haven't budged at all. I've exercised, ok  not every day, but about three times and it just doesn't make sense.

I've got my official weigh in later and I can tell it's not going to be a good evening.

Worst Week Ever?

I lost a pound this week and I'm so disappointed. I was good all week, did more exercise than I ever have and that was the result. I know I lost a lot last week but even so I feel a very crushed.

I think the 3 stone for Christmas target is out of the window now - if I carry on like this I might be able to lose a stone.

I had pizza for dinner last night. I'd already planned to before the disaster weigh in because I was really craving it and needed to get it out of the way, but now I've had it and it's over. I feel a bit guilty and I went over the calories I allow myself by 86 cals, but the rest of the week I was under so I don't feel too bad. I'm going to be really good this week though.

Plan for the week

2 litres of water a day
Maximum 1200 calories a day
Minimum 30 minutes exercise a day

Let's see if that can do anything

Christmas Challenge

I have 17 weigh ins before Christmas

I've worked out that if I lose an average of 2.5lbs a week I can lose another 3 stone by Christmas which would be amazing. I really think, if I stick to the plan and do some exercise every day, that it's doable. I'm really excited at the thought of being under 20 stone by Christmas.

I am going to make a chart, and try my very best to achieve this goal.

Having A Good Day

The 7lb weight loss on Thursday has been just the spur I needed.I still can't believe it and think about it all the time. If only every week could be so kind!

Friday was pretty much a perfect day food wise, but I didn't have my lemon, multi vitamin or any water. I also didn't do any exercise.

Saturday Ididn't have much lunch because we were out and I just had fruit. Dinner was low fat sausages and mash. It was gorgeous! I only had one glass of water, and didn't take any exercise but I did have the lemon and my multivitamin.

Sunday - well it's only half past six,but so far so good. I had a perfect lunch, I've had my lemon, multi vitamin and three glasses of water (I could do with getting a 4th one in) and as for exercise...I've been brilliant

22 minutes on my exercise bike
3 minute island run (wii fit)
another 3 minute island run
2 minutes of hula hooping (wii fit again - i'd have done more but was awful at this)
9 minutes on my exercise bike
10 minutes free running (wii fit again. My run was actually more like a march but I completed the whole ten minutes)

The whole lot adds up to 462 calories. I'm so pleased with myself.

I'm a bit scared of going off the rails again if I don't lose anything. Somehow I need to get it into my head that the scales don't always show the full picture. I've lost three stone now,if I stick to it I really can do it!!!

Slimmer of the Week 7

Things have not been going well. That so-called Bad Result a month ago put me off completely, and I used it as an excuse to eat for Britain. I didn't go to Slimming World the next week, and then we went on holiday where I ate everything I wanted to. I thought and hoped I'd get straight back into it when we got home, but found it impossible, missed a third week of Slimming World and continued to eat badly - crisps,sweets, chocolate, loads of cheese, and an entire victoria sponge cake. However I made myself go to SW this week and was amazed and delighted to find I'd lost a pound. I didn't think I deserved to though and thought maybe the scales were wrong as I was at a different class. I didn't try to get back on my diet, that would be too easy for me; instead I carried on eating until Saturday when I was quite good until...we went out for a drive on a lovely sunny evening and we stopped at a fish and chip shop. We all had jumbo sausage and chips and it was delicious, but completely blew the diet. Sunday though, something clicked into place and from then I've been exercising and sticking to the plan 100%, but I was worried about being weighed in last night because a) I didn't think last weeks scales were accurate and b) because I'd been terrible for most of the week, but...



I LOST 7LBS!!!!!!!!!!

So now I can really say that I'm back on track and I'm really happy. I was Slimmer of the Week, got my 2.5 stone and my 10% certificate

I was so so disappointed with this. I'd barely eaten during the week, and done lots of exercise so I felt I deserved more. The trouble is, that something got into my head and told me not to bother in future. So I didn't. I have eaten so much in the past week that I'm really dreading Thursday and I shudder to think how much weight I can put on during our holiday. I'm really gutted and down in the dumps.

Slimmer of the week 6

I lost 4lbs at my weigh in last night and I'm delighted! If I lose 2.5lbs for the next two weeks I will get to my target of 22 stone something by my holiday: and 3 more pounds and I get to a 2.5 stone loss!! 4lbs and I've lost 10% of my bodyweight!!!! Hopefully I'll reach all those targets in the next 2 weeks.
